Seems to be nothing more than a concept. Do animals recognize man as something higher than them? I doubt it. To recognize means literally to re-cognize. You must first cognize before you can re-cognize. Do animals cognize man AS man? Or just something other? How much cognition of any kind are animals capable of? Man cognizes. At least he says that he does. But that is self-referencing, which is meaningless. It's just like man calling himself homo sapiens. That too is self referencing. How does he know he is wise?
